Check who qualifies, which admission session is covered, whether a test is needed and whether support continues for all semesters. Ask if discounts can be combined and whether they change refund calculations. Keep written confirmation with your application records.

Compare financing carefully
An instalment plan from a university and a loan from a lender are different arrangements. Record interest, processing charges, repayment start dates and late-payment costs. Use the EMI calculator with the actual lender quotation.
Build a fallback budget
Plan for the full cost if a scholarship is not awarded. Include internet, equipment, travel for any required exams and an emergency buffer. Do not rely on an expected salary increase to cover unavoidable payments.
